Hey everyone!
I apologize for the lack of activity over the last few weeks. Assessments for school have kept me busy during that time. While most of these were quite painful to complete, my final biology project was quite entertaining. In a ten minute video, my class was asked to select a living species and discuss its five most relevant direct ancestors. These ancestors had to abide by various concepts of evolution taught throughout the year and all be relevant to how the chosen animal evolved into its current form. The animal I chose was Loxodonta Africana, the African Elephant. All in all, I thought my video was pretty good, but I’ll let you decide for yourself.
Disclaimer: Since we could only discuss direct ancestors, some awesome elephant species were only briefly discussed within the video, such as the Mammoths and Mastodons.
I do not take credit for any images found within this video.
